What we process

When you have a conversation, your voice is processed in real-time to create a transcript. This transcript is then used to write your memoir chapters. Audio recordings are kept temporarily during the writing process and deleted after your chapter is finalized.

Where your data lives

Your data is stored on secure, encrypted servers hosted in the United States. We use industry-standard infrastructure with redundancy and regular backups to ensure your memoir is never lost.

How it's protected

All data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). Access is restricted to authorized personnel only, and all access is logged and audited. We follow security best practices and regularly review our infrastructure.

What we never do

We never sell your data. We never share it with advertisers. We never use your stories, conversations, or memoir content to train machine learning models. Your content serves one purpose: creating your memoir.

Third-party services

We use a small number of trusted third-party services: secure hosting, payment processing (Stripe), and email delivery. Each provider is bound by strict data processing agreements and is compliant with applicable data protection regulations.

Data deletion

You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard. When you do, all your data is permanently removed: conversations, transcripts, chapters, photos, and personal information. This action is irreversible — we do not keep backups of deleted accounts.
