In plain language: Your stories are yours. We encrypt everything, never share your data, never use it for training, and you can delete it all at any time. The details below explain exactly how.

1. What we collect

We collect only what's necessary to create your memoir:

Account information: your name, email address, and password (hashed, never stored in plain text).
Conversation data: audio recordings and transcripts of your guided interviews, used exclusively to write your memoir.
Memoir content: the chapters, photos, and descriptions you create and approve.
Payment information: processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We never see or store your card details.

2. How we use your data

Your data is used exclusively to create, deliver, and improve your memoir experience. We do not use your content for marketing, advertising, or machine learning training. Period.

3. Data security

All data is encrypted at rest and in transit (AES-256 and TLS 1.3). Access to your data is restricted to authorized personnel involved in editorial quality review, and only when necessary.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. The only exceptions are service providers essential to delivering Coravio (hosting, payment processing), who are bound by strict confidentiality agreements.

5. Your rights

You have the right to:

Access all data we hold about you
Correct any inaccurate information
Export your memoir and personal data
Delete your account and all associated data — permanently and irreversibly

6. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
